The Heart of Music Ministry: Exploring Character, Conviction and Competence.

Place: Cornerstone Strathfield (Cnr Barker Road and Marion Street, Strathfield)
Cost: $10 (this helps cover the cost of the day conference, morning tea and lunch. We are able to keep the cost low as the event is heavily subsidised by Cornerstone to support, encourage and bless our music ministry teams and others).

Music at church is much more than getting the bridge or the instrumental transition right. Music at church is about leading the people of God in worshipping God in Spirit and truth and exalting Christ. And because worship is a matter of the heart, this means music ministry is a ministry of the heart.

We're excited to collaborate with our friends at Cornerstone Presbyterian churches on May 11th to explore three things:
1) the biblical foundations of music ministry
2) how to most helpfully lead music in the context you're in, whether you're from a small or big congregation, and
3) develop some practical skills in music ministry.

Whether you're interested in music ministry, rostered on the sound desk to playing the drums, this is a day for you to refocus on the heart of worship.
